FSI COMPLIANT COMMUNICATION TOOLKIT
The Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI) is a global, market-driven collaboration across the floriculture sector, bringing together growers, traders, retailers, NGOs, and sector organizations to advance responsible sourcing and sustainability.
A central element of FSI is the Basket of Standards, a set of voluntary certification schemes benchmarked against internationally recognized good practices, covering Good Agricultural Practice, Environmental Practice, and Social Practice.
FSI members are committed to achieving 100% responsibly sourced flowers and plants. This requires a clear distinction between certified and non-certified production, and alignment with the FSI Basket of Standards to identify growers who meet FSI requirements.
Growers are considered FSI-compliant when they hold certifications covering Good Agricultural Practice and Environmental criteria, and Social certification where required based on risk. The full list of recognized standards is available on the FSI website.
Using the FSI-compliant logo does not replace existing certification labels or related communications; growers should continue using their certification logos. In “Business-to-Business” (“B2B”) communication only, the logo may be used to demonstrate alignment with FSI-recognized sustainability standards. The logo must not be used in any consumer-facing communication.
